Details

Chemistry:thione TOXICITY:biodegradable SAFETY: Production:20MT/month Others: MICROCHECK MZ? CD MELZER Microcheck MZ CD is best suited for preservation of products that are offered in powder form. Though it is a powder preservative, it also imparts excellent wet state stability to the aqueous formulations made from powder product, such as starches, guar gum, casein and similar, and their combinations. It is active against a range of bacteria, fungi and molds. It is also recommended for slurries of such products. It is a best preservative of choice for oil drilling mud due to its complete biodegradability. It also finds application in crayons and similar art-materials. Conditions in many paper mill systems encourage the growth and reproduction of microorganisms. The problems range from control of simple bacteria in starch solutions to iron eating bacteria leading to corrosion. To avoid slime deposits, microbial corrosion and a host of related problems, it is important to maintain a program of microbiological growth control, typically by application of broad-spectrum biocides. Microcheck MZ CD is one such very good bactericide and slime control agent for paper-pulp. (Microcheck MZ DM is an aqueous dispersion of the same active.) In paper industry, Microcheck MZ DM and Microcheck MZ CD are of particular importance to control slime formation and microbial growth, since they do not contribute to extra load of treatment of discharged water, which is otherwise involved to achieve complete decomposition of biocides in it. Both the products could be used with other preservatives simultaneously. For cooling towers, Microcheck MZ CD gives very good control over generations of slime and algae, avoiding at the same time bacterial growth, and especially for chilled water. Features · Can be added to dry powders during blending · Compatible with most formulations in dry form in which its application is recommended · May be used in formaldehyde sensitive systems. · May not be stable in all aqueous formulations, but the action of preservation continues, even if it undergoes gradual chanced decomposition. · Excellent activity spectrum · Total biodegradability. Uses Microcheck MZ CD is a dry state preservative for the powder products, as well as wet state preservative for a wide range of formulations. It can be used as a powder preservative for starch, adhesives, and sealants, drilling muds, fillers, grouts clays, guar gum and other products. In paper pulp, it protects the product from microbial attack. Use Dosage: Generally the dosage is between 0.2% and 1.0% w/w. However, it depends on the end application of the product, as well as the environment conditions of handling and storage. It is better to standardize and check the dosage with the intended application. In paper pulp, the dosage is the same; the discharged water may not require a pretreatment. Form Of Supply and Handling: Microcheck MZ CD is supplied in 25 kg bags with polyliner. Keep in dry place. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. The product undergoes slow decomposition at temperatures higher then 45°C in moist conditions. Avoid contact with moisture. Do not allow spillage of the powder, and do not discharge the spilled product to the soil till it decomposes over a period completely. Use of facemask and hand gloves while handling the product is highly recommended.
